Ways You Can Work With Me

  • In an individual session, we will work one-on-one to address your concerns.

I believe that every person can benefit from psychotherapy, no matter how small or large their issues may be. Therapy can help those who are struggling mentally, physically, going through various life stressors, or facing changes that create emotional challenges. Additionally, many of my clients utilize individual therapy as a means of self-improvement. Working with me individually, clients gain access to a safe and non-judgmental environment to reflect on their experiences, explore their personal goals, and get to know themselves deeply.

  • Therapy can help pre-teens and teens manage their emotions, improve their mental health, and develop important life skills.

It’s natural for pre-teens and teens to experience stress, anxiety, and emotional distress. However, as teens deal with the physical changes of puberty and the social pressures that come with growing up, it can be difficult for them to cope without external support. If you are a teen who has noticed changes in your behavior, mood, sleep, or eating habits, it’s time to seek professional assistance. Therapy with me will help you to express yourself honestly and openly. I will assist you by honoring your lived experience and providing a safe space where you can share your thoughts and feelings without fear of judgment.

  • Building a child’s mental health skills from an early age can lead to long-lasting benefits throughout one’s life.

Mental health concerns among kids often present as noticeable changes in behavior and emotion, causing distress and problems getting through the day. If you are a child who is concerned or the parent of a minor who is exhibiting symptoms, I can help. Through therapy with me, I will support your child as we explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. I aim to help children understand their world, cope with challenges, and express themselves in healthy ways.

I incorporate play therapy techniques when working with kids, which utilizes play as a means of communication and expression.

My Specialties

Anxiety Therapy

Anxiety is a normal emotional state that arises when we face stress or potential dangers. It moves us to act and helps us survive, which is really important! However, anxiety can become problematic when we find ourselves over-sensitized to everyday risks and stuck in a cycle of fear and worry. But you do not have to feel this way. Together we will expand your capacity to face your anxiety and increase your internal resources so that you can feel like yourself again.

Mood Disorder Therapy

Moods ebb and flow, constantly changing based on our environment or experience. That is their nature, and we are meant to feel intense emotions occasionally. However, it can be distressing when our moods persist, impacting our routines and daily function. If you are struggling with mood concerns related to depression, bipolar disorder, or other difficult emotions, I can help you alleviate your suffering and bring enjoyment back into your life.
