  • The only way to know for sure is to schedule a 15-minute consult or set up an appointment with me. Finding a good fit with your therapist and feeling that you can be open and honest with them is imperative for therapeutic treatment. Most clients will have a good sense that I am the right professional to help them through our initial communication.

    I also hope this website will give you a good sense of who I am and how I work.

  • Each counseling session will last 50 minutes.

  • I encourage clients to plan on attending therapy once a week for at least six weeks.

    Therapy lasts for as long as it is helpful, and treatment length will depend on each client’s preference, concern, and desired care.

    I tend to work with many of my clients long-term. Often a year or more.

  • I charge $175 for each 50-minute session.

    Your full fee will be charged via credit or debit card at the time services are rendered.

  • I require 24-hour notice of cancellation, or you will need to pay for the appointment. For treatment to be effective, it’s important that we meet consistently in order to work through your concerns and help you move forward.

  • I do not currently accept any in-network insurance plans.

    However, if you have a PPO insurance plan, you may receive reimbursement for therapy sessions paid in full. If you wish to do this, I can provide you with a monthly invoice to submit to your insurance plan.

    Services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. Please check your coverage carefully by asking the following questions:

    Do I have mental health insurance benefits?
    What is my deductible, and has it been met?
    How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?
    What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
    Is approval required from my primary care physician?

  • Be you and know that I am here to help!

    Your active participation and dedication are crucial to your success. To derive the most from psychotherapy, attend your sessions regularly and ask questions if you have them. It may also be helpful to think about what you would like to achieve through therapy and any goals you might have.
