Associate Therapist Opportunities in Santa Barbara, CA
I'm excited to be expanding my private practice and looking to welcome an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) or Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC)!
My practice focuses on working with children, teens, young adults, and adults, particularly those navigating anxiety, OCD, ADHD, and related challenges. I'm especially interested in connecting with associates who enjoy working with children and adolescents and want to continue developing their clinical skills with these populations.
My goal is to create a supportive environment where associates can gain meaningful clinical experience, build their caseload, and receive consistent supervision and guidance as they work toward licensure. Ideally, I'd love to provide a setting where an associate can complete their hours within one practice, with the flexibility and support to grow as a clinician along the way.
What You Can Expect
Flexible Scheduling: Create a schedule that works for you, with the opportunity to choose the days and hours you'd like to see clients.
50/50 Fee Split: W-2 employment with a competitive 50/50 fee split.
Individual Clinical Supervision: Consistent supervision, consultation, and support throughout your associateship.
Referrals and Caseload Development: Marketing and referral support to help you establish and grow your caseload.
Experience With Children and Adolescents: Opportunities to work with younger clients and families while accruing qualifying clinical hours toward California LMFT licensure.
Clinical Growth: Opportunities to develop your skills in treating anxiety, OCD, ADHD, and other presenting concerns.
Supportive Practice Environment: A collaborative working relationship where questions, consultation, and continued learning are encouraged.
Who I'm Looking For
I'm looking for an associate who is compassionate, curious, reliable, and genuinely interested in working with children, teens, young adults, and adults.
An interest in working with children and adolescents is especially important, although you don't need to have extensive experience with these populations. Prior experience treating anxiety, OCD, or ADHD is welcome but not required. I'm happy to support someone who is eager to learn, open to feedback, and interested in continuing to develop their clinical skills.
Applicants should be registered as an AMFT with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences or approaching eligibility for registration.
