Therapy Offerings

Therapy for Anxiety, OCD, and ADHD

If you’re here, you may feel like you’re constantly trying to keep up and still falling short.

You might feel like your mind never really quiets, your emotions feel hard to manage, or even simple things take more energy than they should. When things pile up, it can leave you feeling exhausted, unsure of yourself, or struggling to regain a sense of steadiness.

You’ve likely already tried to help yourself. You think deeply, look for answers, and push yourself to do better. When those efforts don’t bring lasting relief, it can start to feel discouraging or isolating.

This is where therapy with me comes in.

I specialize in working with women, young adults, and pre-teens & teens navigating demanding lives. My role is to help you understand why your inner experience feels so difficult and how to work with it more effectively, so you’re not constantly fighting yourself.

Over time, many clients find they feel more regulated, more confident in their responses, and better able to meet life as it is, even when it remains challenging.

How Therapy With Me Works

Therapy with me is practical, thoughtful, and responsive to what you are dealing with right now.

Some people come in needing help with something immediate, such as intense anxiety, intrusive thoughts, difficulty sleeping, or feeling emotionally overwhelmed. Others want support making sense of longer-standing struggles or navigating ongoing stressors. Most people move between these needs over time.

In our work together, we focus on both understanding what is happening internally and identifying tangible ways to feel better in daily life. This might include learning tools to manage anxiety or overwhelm, working with unhelpful thought patterns, improving emotional regulation, or gaining clarity around decisions and relationships.

The focus of therapy is always shaped by what feels most relevant and supportive for you.

Areas I Commonly Work With

  • Anxiety often shows up as constant vigilance and mental effort. Your mind may be running ahead, anticipating problems, replaying conversations, or trying to make sure nothing goes wrong. Even when things are relatively calm, it can feel hard to relax or trust that you’re okay.

Over time, this can be exhausting. Many people with anxiety feel worn down by their own thoughts, unsure how to quiet their mind, and frustrated by how much energy everyday decisions and interactions seem to take. Therapy focuses on helping you understand what keeps anxiety activated and develop ways of responding that bring more steadiness and relief in daily life.

  • OCD is often driven by intense doubt and a need to feel certain, safe, or reassured. You may experience intrusive thoughts that feel disturbing, confusing, or completely at odds with who you are. In response, you might find yourself mentally checking, analyzing, seeking reassurance, or following internal rules to try to get relief.

While these strategies can feel necessary in the moment, they often become draining and time-consuming, leaving you stuck in cycles that are hard to break. Therapy helps you understand how OCD operates and learn ways of responding that reduce its control over your thoughts and your day, without requiring constant effort or self-monitoring.

  • ADHD can make it hard to initiate tasks, sustain focus, or follow through, even on things that matter to you. You may feel mentally scattered, easily overwhelmed, or frustrated by how much effort it takes to organize your thoughts, time, or energy.

Many people with ADHD also struggle with self-doubt or self-criticism, especially when their internal experience doesn’t match expectations placed on them. Therapy helps you understand how ADHD shows up for you and develop practical ways of working with your attention, emotions, and motivation, so everyday life feels more manageable and less discouraging.

  • In addition to my core specialties above, I also support clients navigating:

    • Depression

    • Burnout and school or career stress

    • Self-esteem and body image concerns

    • Relationship stress

    • Sleep difficulties

    • Grief and loss

    • Pregnancy and postpartum experiences

    • Major life transitions

What Therapy With Me Is Like

My approach is practical, responsive, and grounded in real life.

Some clients come in needing support for what feels most urgent right now, such as intense anxiety, difficulty sleeping, intrusive thoughts, or feeling emotionally overwhelmed. Others want help making sense of longer-standing patterns or navigating ongoing stressors. Most fall somewhere in between.

In our work together, I aim to offer therapy that is both useful and reflective. This means we spend time understanding what you are experiencing while also working with concrete tools and strategies you can apply outside of session.

Therapy may include:

  • practical ways to manage anxiety, overwhelm, or intrusive thoughts

  • support with emotional regulation and decision-making

  • help navigating relationships, boundaries, or transitions

  • space to slow down, reflect, and make sense of your internal experience

The focus is always on what will be most supportive and effective for you at this point in your life.
